Adopt Me: All minigames in Active Needs update

Adopt Me is a pet simulator where you unlock different Pets and help them grow by taking care of them. By completing minigames and tasks, you can earn Bucks, which can be used to adopt more Pets.

On November 21, 2025, Adopt Me added three new minigames via the Active Needs update. By clearing these updates, you can claim several XP points for your Pets and Bucks. This guide will explore how you can begin and complete these minigames while extracting the maximum benefit.

With the Active Needs update, the game added three new minigames:

Pet Pen Activity

Inside the pet pen, you'll find a toy box. As you tap on it, a pop-up will appear with a garden containing all your pets. In this minigame, you have to collect all the useful items like beach balls, bones, Frisbees, etc., while discarding the poo.

For each item, you must act quickly, as a timer will show up at the bottom of your screen. Once it goes off, the game ends. This minigame has no cooldown, so you can quickly grind for pets' XP and Bucks.

Firefly Camp

This minigame occurs during the night, which requires you to talk to an NPC, get the jar, and collect fireflies. Whenever the night hits, head towards the campsite and talk to the Bert NPC. He'll provide a jar to help you collect all the fireflies around the site.

After claiming the jar, a timer of a minute and a half will start at the top of your screen. You must collect as many fireflies as possible to exchange them with Bert in return for bucks. To collect the maximum number of flies, search for them at different locations near the campsite.

Beach Party

Beach Party is another minigame that can be played during the daytime. To begin, travel towards the beach and locate the dock. On the left of it, you'll find three Water Scooters which can be taken for a ride around the coast.

As you hop into a Water Scooter, a time-bound race will start in which you must drive through several checkpoints. Upon completing the race, you'll get 10 bucks as a reward. If you play the game again, the rewards will only be granted after you clear your previous record.

Here are some tips to fast-track your progress:

• Prioritize completing your first Beach Party race slowly. This will allow you to play the minigame multiple times for more rewards.
• The amount granted by the Bert in exchange for fireflies will depend on the number of flies you've collected and the location.
• You can grind the Pet Pen activity to level up your pets faster and earn some free cash faster.
• The cliff next to the campsite has a high number of spawns for fireflies.

Visit the Beach Dock during the day. You'll find three Water Scooters on the left side. When you hop on one, a racing timer begins. You're tasked with driving through all checkpoints to complete the race.
