After Adam Sandler officiated Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, the comedian is bestowing some wisdom about marriage to the newlyweds.

Swift and Kelce tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden. They were surrounded by 1,000 friends and family members to celebrate their big day. Following the reception, Kansas City Chiefs head coach, Andy Reid, shared the advice that Sandler gave to Swift and Kelce.

“Adam Sandler conducted the service there and he told them, ‘Keep kissing,’” Reid said, per The Deseret News. “So, in its simplest form. That’s a good thing.”

Sandler has been married since 2003 to his wife Jen. The couple shares two daughters: Sadie Madison (born in 2006) and Sunny Madeline (born in 2008).

The Happy Gilmore creator and star was chosen to be the officiant of their wedding after he had formed a close relationship with the couple. Sandler and Kelce worked together on the comedian's sequel Happy Gilmore 2 last year, where the NFL star made a cameo as a waiter.

“Travis is such a gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell,” Sandler told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “He’s like the guys I grew up with. When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my buddies in high school and just being able to laugh and say the things you want to say.”

He also had nothing but nice things to say about Swift being a kind person.

"Taylor is so d--n nice to my family and has always been,” Sandler said. “My kids have met Taylor a bunch of times over the years, and she’s ridiculously nice to them and warm."

Swift and Kelce have yet to share official photos from their wedding, but their A-list guests like Selena Gomez and Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, are sharing what it was like to be inside the wedding of the year. Donna Kelce also described the ceremony as "magical."
