The 2026 Atlanta Falcons are off to a 2-3 start to the regular season, with the one commonality in all three of their losses being that Michael Penix Jr. wasn't on the field for either the entire game or a significant portion of the game.

For Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens and their backup QB, the Falcons lost in overtime, but not before Bijan Robinson continued to add to a ridiculous resume through the first five weeks of the season.

There is one statistic that highlights just how incredible he's been. Underdog NFL shared this absurd statistic of Robinson's yards after contact on rushing attempts, and how it's better than 12 NFL teams' rushing totals overall this season.

Crazy Bijan Robinson rushing yards stat shows how dominant he really is

"Bijan Robinson has more rushing yards after contact (497) than these NFL teams have in total rushing yards this season: Bengals, Broncos, Browns, Cardinals, Cowboys, Eagles, Jets, Packers, Raiders, Saints, Texans, Titans," Underdog NFL shared.

This season, Robinson has 580 rushing yards on 102 attempts, good for 5.7 yards per carry. Of those 580 yards, 497 have come after contact, according to Underdog NFL.

While that 497-yard mark might not be entirely accurate, SumerSports has Robinson at 468 yards after contact this season, which is still a ridiculous mark and is better than 10 teams have in total rushing yards this season.

The Cleveland Browns (471) and New York Jets (470) have barely more yards on the ground than Robinson has after contact this season.

The Arizona Cardinals (458), Philadelphia Eagles (458), Denver Broncos (431), Carolina Panthers (418 - Week 5 bye), Cincinnati Bengals (414), Tennessee Titans (413), Las Vegas Raiders (410), New Orleans Saints (409), Dallas Cowboys (408), Houston Texans (395), and Green Bay Packers (302) are all under Robinson's 468-yard mark.

After contact, Robinson has gained 468 yards on the ground this season, according to SumerSports. There are 10 NFL teams whose running games haven't managed to reach that yardage mark total, with two other teams only two and three yards better, too.

While there might be some discrepancy about Robinson's real yards-after-contact totals this season, Underdog and SumerSports highlight just how absurd Robinson has been this year with this wild statistic.

Robinson is putting together a very impressive 2026 season, as his 580 rushing yards lead the pack through five weeks, with Kenneth Walker and Jahmyr Gibbs the only other RBs over 500 yards before Week 5 Monday Night Football.

This absurd statistic should prove how dominant Robinson has been this season. There's not really any other RB who can compare, at least when it comes to running the ball. He's off to a wild start and doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon.
