On November 12, all five NewJeans members confirmed their decision to return to ADOR. Soon after, the quintet's official X account dropped a fresh video. The clip sparked immediate backlash because it featured only Haerin. Hyein and Haerin were the first two members publicly confirmed to resume activities under the label.

Danielle, Minji, and Hanni issued their own unexpected statement saying they would also rejoin the company. However, the agency said it was still “reviewing” the return of the remaining three. Meanwhile, following the clip’s release, fans have criticized the agency, with one X user stating that the move is,

"Absolutely shameless."

Many argued that the selective video release felt calculated, calling the company’s behavior "shameless."

I'm sorry, but this company's behavior is sickening, and nobody will make me say otherwise

shameless label, desiring to split the girls, forcing the 2 youngest, ignoring the other 3, shaping public opinions to sabotage all of them and playing innocent victims all the time😒

Now you are posting content without Hanni, Minji, and Danielle, how shameless can this company be 😭. Literally refusing to acknowledge their return

Others noted that during the peak of the legal dispute, all published clips included the entire group. So, with tensions easing, the sudden shift to featuring a single member prompted immediate concern.

not them releasing clip that only has Haerin and Hyein now.. i hate you so muchNewJeans will always be 5You can't separate 5 of them白痴

This company is embarrassing they were posting all 5 and begging them to come back and now all of a sudden it's just hyein and haerin?

they were posting all 5 while waiting for court ruling and now that they are backed by court ruling that the 5 are still their artists, they decide to only keep two just enough to rebuild and keep the ip going

ADOR has issued its first response after NewJeans’ Minji, Danielle, and Hanni publicly declared they intend to return to the agency. Earlier on November 12, the South Korean record label confirmed that Haerin and Hyein would resume their professional schedules.

A few hours later, the remaining three members released a joint message signaling that they were also preparing to come back. Although all five members appear to be returning to ADOR, the label remains cautious. In a comment to Ilgan Sports, the agency stated,

"We are confirming the sincerity of the three members' intention to return."

The company added that it will continue updating the public as the situation develops. The HYBE subsidiary's earlier announcement focused on Haerin and Hyein. According to All Doors One Room, the two members reached this decision after long discussions with their families and the label, ultimately deciding to accept the court’s ruling and honor their exclusive contracts.

The court decision referenced in the statement dates back to October, when the sub-label prevailed in the contract validity dispute with all five members. Although NewJeans’ legal team initially announced an appeal, no appeal was ever filed. This fueled speculation that the group might eventually return to the agency.

After the ruling, their legal representatives at Sejong Law Firm stated the members planned to proceed with an appeal. On behalf of the K-pop act, they argued that resuming work at ADOR was impossible due to the trust between both sides having "completely runied."

The situation remains in motion, with all eyes on whether the remaining three NewJeans idols will follow through on their stated intent or take a different path.
