Absent AEW Star Shockingly Addresses Pregnancy Rumors

A top AEW star has been absent for some time. She has now addressed pregnancy rumors.

Nyla Rose was one of the biggest stars in AEW's women's division during the company's early days. She was one of the earliest Women's World Champions in the company's history. Despite the role she has played in the company's initial days, Nyla hasn't been used on TV as regularly, especially after several other women have joined the company. In fact, her last televised match for the company took place in November 2024.

Amid her absence, an X user recently claimed that Nyla Rose is absent because she is pregnant. The Native Beast caught wind of this and jokingly responded that she might be after her date last week. Her reply is especially funny since she is transgender.

Disappointing update on Nyla Rose's AEW future

Nyla Rose has competed in a singles match in AEW in 2025. She hasn't even featured in ROH this year. However, she has competed on the independent circuit throughout the year, leaving fans to wonder why The Native Beast hasn't been used on TV despite being a regular feature during the company's initial days.

During a recent Fightful Select Q&A session, Sean Ross Sapp said that Nyla Rose herself doesn't know why she has been kept off TV for a year. He even reported that people within the company don't know the reason behind her absence. Sean noted that this is one of the biggest problems he has with All Elite Wrestling.

“I don’t know that Nyla knows why she hasn’t been on TV for a year. I don’t know why she hasn’t been. People that I talk to in the company don’t know why.... This is one of the biggest criticisms I have of AEW – is that people will just be pulled from TV and just forgotten.” [H/T - Ringside News]
