Aaron Rodgers reveals he will 'never' post about family again

Aaron Rodgers is setting a boundary with social media when it comes to his family.

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback posted photos of himself and his family last month, but it will be the last time fans will see them online, according to the NFL star. 

“There’s been a narrative out there,” he said, referencing news about the strained relationship with his family per USA Today. “There’s not been a lot of information that’s truthful about it. And I think that the personal life should stay personal and private."

Rodgers added that it will be the last time he posts about his family.

“But I feel like it was part of the full-circle to just one time post something, and never again,” he added. “So that that narrative can finally be put to rest.”

While this might be the last time that fans will get to see a snippet of the Steelers quarterback's personal life as it relates to his family, he did express last week how it feels to reconnect with them. 

“I’m happy to be reunited and that part of my life is a really beautiful addition, and I gotta give my wife a lot of credit for — not that she was pushing me because she never was — but just the way she loves and supports me, having her by my side throughout this process has been really special and I miss those relationships,” he recalled in conversation with NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt.

“It’s been really beautiful to reconnect with them — all of them,” he said. “I got to spend a long weekend recently with my parents … my brother and his sweet wife and their incredible two kids. I got to be an uncle.”

In the photos Rodgers shared with fans on Instagram, his parents (Edward "Ed" Rodgers and Darla Rodgers) and his brother, Luke Rodgers, were shown. Rodgers' niece and nephew, Evie and Jack, whom Luke shares with his wife, Aimee, were also pictured. 

While Rodgers' younger brother, Jordan, was not in the photos, he has not yet commented on the family reunion or if he was ever present. The Steelers quarterback did, however, hint that he has not yet amended his relationship with Jordan via an interview published by The Athletic on Monday, August 3. 

“I’ve been really staunch, going back to when there was a schism, that I feel like that stuff should be off limits,” the Super Bowl champion said. 

“Now, not everybody in the family adhered to the same thing,” he continued. “But there are different things, situations, experiences and people that actually change your life.”

Jordan, who married JoJo Fletcher in May 2022 after competing on "The Bachelorette," publicly commented about the NFL star at the time, noting on-air in 2016 that, "Me and Aaron don’t really have that much of a relationship."
