Aaron Rodgers live stats: Updated Steelers vs. Packers score, highlights from QB's first game against Green Bay

The Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 8 clash with the Green Bay Packers isn't quite a homecoming for Aaron Rodgers. The Steelers quarterback spent 18 years in Green Bay, tearing the record book from the most historic franchise in league history into shreds. He'll face his former team not in Lambeau Field, the humble abode that housed him as he picked up four MVPs, four All-Pro appearances, a Super Bowl ring and a bust in Canton when he retires.

No, Rodgers and Pittsburgh will host their adversaries this time around. Nevertheless, emotion is certain to abound as one of football's greatest-ever archers takes aim at the franchise that helped forge him.

Year 21 has been a success thus far for the 42-year-old gunslinger. He ranks fifth in touchdown passes (14) and ninth in passer rating (105.0) through six games.

More importantly — at least from a team perspective — the Steelers are riding high at the top of the AFC North. Entering into Week 8, Pittsburgh remains the only side in its division above .500. Nothing is certain in divisional play. But all signs are pointing to a Steelers postseason berth if things remain the same.

Everything is set up for a classic Rodgers performance come Sunday night. Micah Parsons and the Packers have other plans. Who will win out? It's anyone's guess.
