A win is a win in football, and that's a good thing for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who pulled off a close 20-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons with Aaron Rodgers at the helm. Rodgers had something to say to the refs over missed calls. He wasn't happy about it, and he made that known.
"We had a lot of chances," Rodgers told reporters after the win. "DK gets interfered with, they don't call it. DK gets interfered with in the end zone, almost makes a heroic catch, they don't call it."
He added, "First third down of the game, DK in the slot, beats him, getting held, no call. It was interesting. There were a lot of flags, but some of those when we had a chance weren't flags."
So, Rodgers wasn't happy with how the officiating went here. The league doesn't like it when players address refs, but he did it in a subtle enough way that they probably won't mind too much.
Rodgers also had a solid game. He clocked 24 completions on 40 attempts for 221 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. So, he's already starting his final year in the NFL on a good note, even if he's upset about some missed calls.
