There is no bigger star in the American League right now than Aaron Judge.
The New York Yankees superstar is right up there with Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani as the best players in baseball. It's a testament to Judge's impressive body of work that there's a real argument that he's better than the first two-way superstar in recent memory.
Judge just continues to shine and somehow find a way to get even better. Take a look at his numbers this year. In 25 games, he is slashing .415/.513/.734 with seven homers, 26 RBIs, seven doubles, and 23 runs scored. When you look even deeper into the numbers, they get even more impressive. He's leading the league in runs scored, base hits, RBIs, batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, OPS, OPS+, total bases, and wins above replacement.
Last year he had a great year and finished with 58 homers, 144 RBIs, and a .322/.458/.701 slash line in 158 games played.

That's obviously really good. But, when you look at his first 25 games last year you'll see a different story. Through 25 games last year, he was slashing .191/.319/.383 with four home runs, and 13 RBIs. His turnaround was wild and home run pace was pretty historic. The reason to bring up this start from last year is because he's now significantly ahead of where he was at this point last year. His final stats from last year were phenomenal, but could he somehow surpass them? He's on pace, but it's obviously early.
Sometimes, it's hard in the moment to just appreciate greatness. That's what Judge is. You won't see seasons like this often so take it in.
