Aaron Glenn describes Jets' offseason with 1 eyebrow-raising word

1 hour ago 3

The New York Jets' offseason has been one in which the franchise has been very calculated in the players it has brought in.

There has been a clear plan of attack to bring in veteran players at key positions, most notably Geno Smith.

But most know that the Jets won't suddenly transform into a 12-win team, but head coach Aaron Glenn has labeled the offseason as "outstanding," which might make fans take notice.

But why does he feel that way?

“Everything that was done was intentional," Glenn said via SNY Jets. "We’re still a long ways away, but the process of what me and Mouge [general manager Darren Mougey] want to do, coaching staff, players, that whole process, you can see it. I guess that’s why I’m outstanding.”

Jets set for improvement in 2026?

Well, they have to be, don't they?

Considering there were calls for the Jets to fire Glenn last season, you get the sense another three-win season won't cut it. Fans want to see progress.

With the free agency moves made, the Jets have brought in veteran pieces to help steer this ship through what will no doubt be troubled waters in 2026.

Improvement, that's all fans want.

Last year was tough sledding, but Glenn feels confident about what has been done this offseason.

Will that translate to a better product on the field? It better.
