Angelina Jolie Reveals She & Daughter Vivienne Got Matching Tattoos
Angelina Jolie's nest isn't empty, but she and Brad Pitt seem to be the parents of a whole bunch of grown-ups all of a sudden.
Their eldest, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, turned 23 in August and their youngest, twins Knox and Vivienne, are old enough to at least be learning to drive, despite the fact that they were just born in France.
But as we all know, not least due to a still-growing pile of court documents related to Brad's lawsuit over French winery Château Miraval they once shared that Angelina unsuccessfully tried to get dismissed but is now slated for trial—meanwhile, she dropped her bid against the FBI and Department of Justice to make public the particulars of a long-closed investigation into an incident with Brad on a 2016 flight that preceded her filing for divorce—a lot of time has gone by.
And nothing is as it was when Angelina and Brad welcomed their fifth and sixth kids together on July 12, 2008.
While there were various custody arrangements in the aftermath of Angelina's decision to file for divorce from Brad in September 2016, Maddox, his brother Pax and sisters Zahara and Shiloh are no longer minors and can see their mom or dad when they want, if they want.
And as soon as Shiloh turned 18 on May 27, she took the opportunity to file a petition to drop her dad's surname and legally become Shiloh Jolie.
Which isn't an unprecedented choice, Angelina—born with actor dad Jon Voight's surname—having gone by her middle name, Jolie, for all of her professional life.
Zahara and Vivienne have been known to use just Jolie at school and work as well.

Yet taken into context, which is that Angelina and Brad's attorneys have been in and out of court for almost eight years, the choice to not go by Jolie-Pitt has raised plenty of questions about the family's dynamic.
Meanwhile, a source close to the matter told E! News that Shiloh hired her own attorney to file the paperwork and paid for the service herself.
If that doesn't tell you they grow up so fast, nothing will.
But all six of Brad and Angelina's kids, while not wildly famous like their parents, are busily exploring their various interests (movies and theater are well-represented) and transcending their beginnings as babies we met on the covers of magazines.
However, Angelina doesn't expect any of them to seriously pursue acting, telling E! News at the Oct. 27 AFI premiere of her film Maria, "I think they're especially shy, very private people, and they want to be private."
Yet they've all taken turns hanging out with their mom on the red carpet in recent years, 16-year-old Knox being the latest to join her at the 2024 Governor’s Awards, and if the awards season buzz surrounding her turn as opera singer Maria Callas proves the real deal... It's also in their genes to make a night of it.
