The fifth season of 90 Day: The Single Life is underway and the singles continue to mingle. The reality spin-off follows eight alums of the series 90 Day Fiance as they navigate their new lives. Sophie Sierra, who appeared in three 90 Day spinoffs, heads to the Dominican Republic for a girls’ trip and unwittingly finds herself in a whirlwind romance with Pedro Jimeno, who was previously married to Chantel Everett.
However, in this exclusive clip obtained by DECIDER, Jimeno sits down and talks to his sister Nicole about his and Sophie’s relationship and expresses his frustration with her hesitation to become exclusive.
“I love my brother,” Nicole says, expressing annoyance that while this is the first time Jimeno has been in love with someone since his divorce from Everett, Sierra can’t see what a “good guy” he is.
Jimeno responds that he doesn’t feel like he’s being appreciated enough. “I am feel[ing] like she’s taking me for granted,” he says. “I was serious from the beginning.”
As the pair gets up for a walk, Nicole asks how old Sierra is. “She’s 26 at the moment,” Jimeno answers. Nicole replies, saying that Sierra is acting “like a little girl.”
“When a woman is really interested in a man, she’s going to do anything she can do to impress this man and be with that man, you know?”
Jimeno tells Nicole that he asked Sierra how she could “entertain” other people while entertaining him. “Oh yes, of course,” he says, seemingly mocking Sierra’s reply and calling her “confused.”
Nicole hits back with a rather philosophical line. “Confused people hurt people. It’s the most dangerous people in the world.” As Jimeno thinks about her words, Nicole then says that he will “suffer” and be “collateral damage.”
In the confessional that follows, Jimeno shares that while he feels that he has to listen to his sister given that she was correct about his past relationship with Everett, he really wants Sierra.
“She have [sic] part of my heart already.”
