73-Year-Old WWE Legend Spotted in a Wheelchair in Public Amid Health Issues

A major WWE Legend was recently spotted in a wheelchair recently. The Legend has made headlines over the past year due to his concerning health conditions. The star in question is none other than the legendary WWE and AEW Commentator Jim Ross.

Jim Ross is one of the most legendary commentators of all time. He and Jerry Lawler have been the voice behind several major WWE moments including many WrestleManias. Over the last few years, he became the voice of All Elite Wrestling and called some of the promotion's biggest moments.

Ross underwent a successful colon cancer surgery in May of this year. He had announced in June that he was cancer free. However, in November he revealed on his Grilling JR podcast that his health over the past 60 days had made him question his own survival at times.

He revealed that he needs a cane or a walker and some assistance while travelling. Despite this, he continues to make meet-and-greet appearances for the fans. He was recently spotted on a wheelchair during a meet-and-greet appearance in Pittsburgh on December 20th.

In a recent episode of his Grilling JR podcast, opened up about his health struggles and how his mobility has declined over the past few months. Despite these challenges, he still goes to a lot of meet-and-greet appearances. He revealed the reason behind such is because what the fans give back to him emotionally.

"Uh, I use a cane or a walker, and I have to have a little help when I’m flying, but I love going to these appearances and seeing the fans and hearing their stories. It’s good medicine for me, quite frankly.... So I don’t know how many more of these I’ll get to have. My getting around, my mobility, has been hampered.” He said. [H:T/RingsideNews]
