Six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen is visiting the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday as both sides express mutual interest in a potential reunion, sources told NFL insiders Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.
Allen played his first 11 seasons with the Chargers before joining the Chicago Bears for the 2024 season. Now he is evaluating a possible return to the team where he became one of the league's top receivers.
Minutes after reporting the news on X, Rapoport shared another tweet that gives Chargers fans hope for a reunion with Allen.
Rapoport wrote, "This one has always made sense. The visit could turn into a deal..."
Allen has appeared in 139 games with 134 starts for the Chargers and caught 904 passes for 10,530 yards and 59 touchdowns.
Despite a dip in production last season with Chicago, Allen remains a respected veteran presence. He caught 70 passes for 744 yards and seven TDs in 2024.
