6 best fantasy waiver wire players to stash before NFL trade deadline

The NFL trade deadline is coming on Tuesday, Nov 4. Plenty of rumors swirl about which offensive skill players may be changing teams.

That will create opportunity for remaining players on the trading team's depth chart and some in cases, free a young traded player to have more of an impact elsewhere. 

With all that in mind and playing the ahead game in fantasy football, here are some deep sleepers ot consider adding in the next week or two from the waiver wire.

Best fantasy football stashes for NFL trade deadline 2025

1. Tyjae Spears, RB, Titans (29% rostered in Yahoo! leagues)

Tony Pollard is on the trading block because the Titans aren't giving him the support he needs with the rest of their offense. He is also their best best to get something reasonable in return.

Should Pollard move, Spears would get a lot of key touches as Tennessee accelerates its offensive youth movement with Cam Ward minus Brian Callahan.

2. Isaiah Davis, RB, Jets (4%)

Davis was elevated to the Jets' No. 2 back with Braelon Allen (knee) going on injured reserve (return designated).

The Jets could go ahead and move pending free agent Breece Hall to a needy contender. Should that happen, Davis would have a great shot of leading the backfield.

3. Jaylen Wright, RB, Dolphins (2%)

Wright has been rumored to be on the move between De'Von Achane and Ollie Gordon II.

The Cowboys don't possess safe depth behind Javonte Williams, but he would have better handcuff value in Dallas. A spot like the Chargers would give him a lot more upside. 

Don't write off the outside chance that Miami does a 180 and moves Achane, making this a speed-power committee of Wright in the Achane role alongside Gordon.

4. Jack Bech, WR, Raiders (1%)

Jakobi Meyers looks like he will be traded to a team that needs wide receiver help, with his former team and offensive play-caller (Josh McDaniels) both represented by the Patriots.

That would give Bech more chances with emerging Tre Trucker to play off the tight ends for Geno Smith (or maybe at some point, Kenny Pickett).

5. Gunnar Helm, TE, Titans (0%)

Helm, the former Texans Longhorn, carries plenty of receiving talent. He just needs a larger opportunity to see regular targets from Ward.

This comes down to the team moving on from Chig Okonkwo and dealing him to a tight end depth-seeking team.

6. Brandin Cooks, WR, Saints (0%)

There are rumors around both Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed being moved.

Cooks is unlikely to moved from his original team as he provides key depth given injury and inexperience concerns with the rest of the wide receiver depth chart. Should either the No. 1 or No. 2 speedy deep threat move, Cooks would step into a much busier role for Kellen Moore's offense for the pleasant surprise of Spencer Rattler at quarterback.
