Each year, the Baseball Writers of America are tasked with casting their votes for a Hall of Fame class to be inducted into Cooperstown and immortalized forever.
This week, the ballot for the 2025 Hall of Fame class was revealed, which includes 14 returning players and 14 new faces for the BBWA to consider. Once the votes are cast, the results be revealed on January 21, and the class will be inducted on July 27.
Within this list of 28 nominees, there were five former Boston Red Sox who spent time with. Here's which former Red Sox are on the ballot and what they did during their time in Boston.
