49ers take over new Vegas sports dayclub across from Raiders’ stadium

Most NFL teams keep it low-key in May. Nine members of the San Francisco 49ers had other plans.

The Niners crew descended on the Vegas Strip last Saturday for the grand opening of Tailgate Beach Club, a new sports-focused dayclub at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino that sits directly across from the Raiders' home turf, Allegiant Stadium.

All-Pro tight end George Kittle and defensive end Nick Bosa led the lineup, both rehabbing their way back from injuries last season. Quarterback Mac Jones, wide receivers Demarcus Robinson and Ricky Pearsall, guard Dominick Puni, linebacker Luke Gifford, tight end Jake Tonges, and Drake Nugent rounded out the Niners contingent. Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams hit the red carpet too, per PR Newswire.

That kind of athlete turnout isn't an accident. Built by Clique Hospitality, Tailgate Beach Club is being billed as the first sports-focused dayclub on the Las Vegas Strip. The 50,000-square-foot space packs more than 125 feet of LED screens, three heated pools for year-round viewing, 25 luxury cabanas with private 50- to 75-inch TVs, and two premium bungalows. The cabanas even come stocked with PlayStation consoles, beer pong, and foosball.

Game days just got kicked up a notch 🔥

As for programming, the calendar revolves around major sports moments year-round, from NFL Sundays and UFC fight nights to playoff watch parties, fantasy football drafts, and World Cup events.

"A lot of places still treat sports like wallpaper," Clique Hospitality COO Craig O'Keefe told ClutchPoints. "You can't just throw up more TVs and call it a sports venue."

Opening weekend leaned fully into that mix of sports and entertainment. Snoop Dogg headlined the day with a set that included a surprise drop-in from Tha Dogg Pound's Kurupt for "It Ain't No Fun."

"Vegas knows how to throw a party, and Tailgate Beach Club sounds like it's bringing a whole new vibe to the Strip," Snoop told Billboard ahead of the launch.

The day also doubled as a birthday celebration for two attendees. Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, who turned 58 on May 12, was in the building. Claire Kittle kicked off her 32nd birthday celebration early with a custom cake delivered poolside by her husband.

The 49ers open the 2026 season against the Rams in the NFL's first-ever regular-season game in Australia on Thursday, September 10. Plenty of time for more pool days.
