At this point, the questions will follow San Francisco 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey for the rest of his career:
Is he healthy? And can he stay healthy?
Those are certainly questions being wondered about as training camp gets underway.
ESPN's Nick Wagoner explained the importance of CMC's health like this:
"He won the league's Offensive Player of the Year award in 2023, but an injury-plagued 2024 has many wondering if the 29-year-old can defy the odds and return to form in his ninth NFL season," Wagoner writes. "If he can, the Niners' offense can return to dominance. If not, running back again will become a huge question mark."

McCaffrey's lack of health last season was a big reason the 49ers stumbled to a 6-11 record.
All the comments by McCaffrey and the 49ers' coaching staff have been positive thus far. So far, so good.
But it's also July, and San Francisco will be much more focused on how much McCaffrey can do in September and beyond.
The questions will persist. If McCaffrey can answer them positively, the 49ers will be in a great spot.
