With a record of 4-2, heading into a matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7, the San Francisco 49ers have been dealt too many injuries to count so far this season.

Quarterback Brock Purdy, tight end George Kittle, wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, edge rusher Nick Bosa, and linebacker Fred Warner have all missed time for the 49ers. With Warner and Bosa missing the rest of the 2025 season, there's uncertainty for the team moving forward.

After coming into this week already missing multiple games for the 49ers, Brock Purdy and Ricky Pearsall were given injury designations for Week 7.

It will be Purdy's fifth missed game of the season while dealing with an injury to his UCL in his throwing elbow and turf toe. Through two games this season, he's thrown for 586 yards, four touchdowns, and four interceptions.

Backup quarterback Mac Jones will be in line to make his fifth start of the season.

As for Pearsall, he will be missing his third straight contest while battling a PCL strain in his right knee. He suffered the setback in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Through four games this season, he's tallied 20 receptions for 327 yards and has yet to record a touchdown.

The 49ers will hope to have Jauan Jennings, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, and Kendrick Bourne to lead the receiving room, while also getting back tight end George Kittle from the IR.
