47-year-old WWE star pays touching tribute to Eddie Guerrero

A 47-year-old WWE star has paid a touching tribute to the late Eddie Guerrero. Eddie passed away 20 years ago on November 13, plunging the wrestling community into mourning.

Every year wrestlers and fans fondly remember Latino Heat on the anniversary of his passing. Earlier, Rey Mysterio penned an emotional letter remembering his late friend. Now, WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk has also shared a tribute to the wrestling icon.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Punk posted an image of Eddie Guerrero with a heart emoji on his Instagram Stories.

Punk shares a connection with him, having faced the former WWE Champion in the ring. In 2002, Eddie was competing on the independent wrestling scene after being let go by WWE.

It was during this time he faced CM Punk for the first time alongside Rey Mysterio in a three-way match. Later, the two would also compete in a one-on-one match, where Punk beat Eddie.

They would face each other again when the late legend was a part of WWE. After a 30-minute time-limit draw, Guerrero put his Intercontinental Title on the line and beat Punk.

Eddie Guerrero's daughter shared an emotional tribute to his father

Eddie Guerrero's daughter Kaylie remembered her late father on the 20th anniversary of his tragic death.

In a post on X/Twitter, she shared a photo of Eddie holding her up during a pedicure visit. She mentioned how the pain of losing him still remains.

"This day never gets easier, even after all of these years… When I miss you, I try and think of all the happy moments we had together… ❤️🙏🏼🇲🇽 Like when you protected me from the “scary foot bath,” during my first nail salon visit. 😆 I love and miss you forever & always. 🥹🕊️" she wrote.

Eddie's passing was one of the biggest tragedies in pro wrestling, as fans continue to fondly remember the legend.
