A top babyface has been missing on WWE RAW over the past few weeks. Fans have been curious about his whereabouts, and he could quit the company out of frustration due to his recent booking.

LA Knight has seemingly been buried by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and the creative team, with the former United States Champion only getting to deliver a promo during the Netflix ad break this past week on the red-branded show. Even before he could finish the promo, his mic was cut off, and he was visibly upset after the cameras stopped rolling. Knight was nowhere to be seen last week and wasn't even mentioned by CM Punk in his list of potential opponents.

Despite his issues with The Vision, The Megastar has seemingly been left out of contention for a spot in their upcoming WarGames match at Survivor Series. Being booked poorly despite having a ton of fan backing, he might decide to leave WWE and become a top star elsewhere.

In fact, it could turn into a work to get the fans behind him even more. The creative team could then capitalize on the situation by finally giving him a push in the new year. However, if there are any real-life issues, they could be resolved quickly backstage.

LA Knight is set to return to WWE SmackDown this week

The Megastar was talking about wanting to take the Intercontinental Championship off John Cena during the Netflix ad break this past week, before he was abruptly cut off.

This week on SmackDown, he is set to face a mystery opponent in John Cena's The Last Time is Now Tournament. The first-round match was announced last week, and the winner will qualify for the quarter-final.

Knight hasn't had a televised SmackDown match since July, but has frequently competed in dark matches during the blue-branded show. It will be interesting to see whom he faces and whether he can pick up the win upon his televised return to the Friday Night Show.
