It is no surprise that Dominik Mysterio receives a lot of hate from fans as well as other WWE Superstars. While the Intercontinental Champion is sometimes cheered on now, he is still a big heat magnet. Taking things to another level, 40-year-old wrestler Penta was recently seen bashing a piñata of Dirty Dom.
A video clip surfaced on X (fka Twitter) showcasing the Mexican luchador relentlessly clubbing a piñata made in the likeness of the AAA Mega Champion. The former AEW star is surrounded by his fans in the clip.
Penta has contested the Judgment Day member for the IC Championship on several occasions. He had been after the title even when Bron Breakker had it ahead of WrestleMania 41. However, he could never get his hands on the belt owing to the heel faction.

Even when Dominik Mysterio soloed his fights instead of getting help, The Latino Cheat always used underhanded means to defeat Penta as well as Rusev. The masked wrestler had his last shot at the IC Title in a Triple Threat Match alongside The Bulgarian Brute on the November 1, 2025, edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Dominik Mysterio gets injured
Penta was supposed to team up with his brother Rey Fenix and fight Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano at the 2025 AAA Guerra De Titanes. However, he was sidelined due to an injury and was replaced by Rey Mysterio. Despite this change, the babyfaces defeated EGA and Dirty Dom.
While Pentagon Jr. got injured ahead of the match, the Intercontinental Champion got injured during the match and is now down with a bad shoulder. As per Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer:
“Dom injured his shoulder taking the DDT from his dad near the end of tonight’s main event… Based on how he landed, my presumption is it’s likely a shoulder separation, which depending on the severity could be a short-term injury, or worst case scenario surgery. But we won’t know anything until he gets evaluated. He could barely use the arm at all.” [H/T Ringside News]Thus, the injury bug has bitten The Judgment Day once again and has taken down its only championship holder. It would be interesting to see when Dom recovers from this injury and gets back in WWE.
