Urban exploring is something I’ve always wished I had the guts to actually do. Growing up in Michigan, Detroit was practically built for it, abandoned buildings everywhere just waiting for someone curious enough to see what was still inside.
I think my window for that has closed, though. I’m too old now to be trespassing anywhere, and that adventure belongs to the younger crowd who still have the nerve for it. What I can do is enjoy the cool photos they bring back.
Somehow the pictures in r/urbanexploration alone make me feel like I snuck in right along with them.
