Sign design seems simple until you realize people can read text in multiple directions, and suddenly your message says something completely different.
The r/dontdeadopeninside subreddit on Reddit documents these exact fails. Named after the infamous “Don’t Dead Open Inside” sign from The Walking Dead, the community shares signs where the layout creates confusing or unintentionally hilarious messages.
