Recently, several legends in WWE have been crowned champions. This week on RAW, John Cena became a Grand Slam Champion by winning the Intercontinental Title from Dominik Mysterio. Earlier this month, CM Punk defeated Jey Uso to become the World Heavyweight Champion.

Moreover, after a spectacular match against The Cenation Leader at Crown Jewel, AJ Styles and his partner, Dragon Lee, won the World Tag Team Championship from The Judgment Day.

That said, after Cena, Punk, and Styles, these four WWE legends should be the next to become champions:

#4. WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio returned from an injury two weeks ago and confronted then-Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio. It seemed like the father-son duo would collide with the IC Title on the line. However, Dominik's reign came to an abrupt end this week, thanks to John Cena.

That said, "Dirty" Dom still holds the AAA Mega Championship, which his father could win if they lock horns in the near future. The Master of 619 hasn't won a title in WWE in the last two years. The Hall of Famer last held the United States Championship for 85 days in late 2023.

Rey is likely at the tail-end of his in-ring career, and it would be a feel-good moment for the audience to see him win a championship.

#3. Finn Balor

While Finn Balor has won the Tag Team Championship several times recently, his last singles title win came over three years ago. Moreover, none of his reigns with the tag team titles have been memorable.

With tensions running at an all-time high in the Judgment Day, it's time for Balor to re-establish himself as a singles competitor. Balor could either challenge Cena for the IC Title or go straight for the World Heavyweight Championship and face CM Punk.

#2. Sheamus

After John Cena completed his Grand Slam quest, it's time for Sheamus to achieve this feat. For that, The Celtic Warrior needs to win the IC Championship. The veteran's last title win came over four years ago in the form of the US Championship.

Sheamus challenged Gunther when he was the Intercontinental Champion, but despite multiple attempts, he failed to capture the prestigious title. Sheamus needs to follow in Cena's footsteps and become a WWE Grand Slam Champion soon.

#1. Randy Orton

Randy Orton vowed to become a 15-time World Champion this year. While he had several opportunities, the legend has failed to do so. The Viper failed to dethrone John Cena at Backlash and then lost in the final of the King of the Ring Tournament.

Orton hasn't held a title in WWE for over three years, something that needs to happen soon. With Cody Rhodes holding the Undisputed Title, The Viper could finally turn heel and dethrone his former mentee to finally become a 15-time World Champion.
