I don’t know who keeps making these maps, but I’m glad they are—and also a little concerned. The @terriblemaps account is a goldmine of geographical nonsense, where every map feels like it was made at 3AM by someone who’s never seen a globe and refuses to start now.
These aren’t just terrible maps—they’re beautifully, unapologetically wrong. The kind of wrong that loops back around into being hilarious. Whether it’s a map of “places where sandwiches exist” or a layout of the U.S. based entirely on vibes, these are some of the funniest cartographic disasters the internet has to offer.
