I’ve been following Jon Adams for a while, and his comics always hit that perfect mix of weird, dry, and quietly dark. He’s a New Yorker cartoonist, so the humor’s sharp, but not trying too hard. The kind of joke that sneaks up on you.
A lot of his panels feel like overheard conversations or strange little thoughts you’d have on a bad commute. He’s also the guy behind Chief O’Brien at Work, so clearly, existential workplace humor is his thing.
They’re the kind of jokes that linger in your brain longer than you expect.
