The idea of iconic WWE factions and tag teams reuniting has always generated buzz among the fans. This year, there were several memorable moments, but some highly anticipated comebacks were never considered by the creative team, leaving fans disappointed.

Now, let's explore three WWE reunions that should have happened in 2025.

#3. Nikki Bella and Brie Bella

The Bella Twins disbanded after Nikki Bella and her twin sister, Brie Bella, refused to sign a new deal with WWE after their contracts expired in March 2023. However, Nikki later returned to the squared circle earlier this year for a second run.

Following the former Divas Champion's return to the Stamford-based promotion, many fans suggested that Brie should have also made a comeback and reunited with Nikki Bella to reform The Bella Twins. Together, they could then go after the Women's Tag Team Championship, but the company has yet to pull the trigger on this move.

#2. Rey Fenix and Penta

Rey Fenix and his real-life brother, Penta, formed the famous tag team known as The Lucha Brothers. They have competed as a team and as rivals in various promotions, including AEW, Lucha Underground, and Impact Wrestling, before signing with WWE earlier this year.

However, the real-life brothers embraced a singles run since joining the Stamford-based promotion. Penta is currently featured on Monday Night RAW, while Rey Fenix performs on SmackDown. Given the success the duo has achieved as The Lucha Brothers, fans believed that the creative team should have booked their reunion to help spice up the company's tag team division.

#1. WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio embraced his heel side at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022, betraying his father, Rey Mysterio, and Edge, and joining The Judgment Day.

However, many expected the father-and-son tag team to reunite, especially given the growing tension between Dominik and his stablemates. The company even teased their reunion when Rey walked into the ring to celebrate with 'Dirty' Dom after he won the AAA Mega Championship at Worlds Collide: Las Vegas.

Moreover, many fans proposed that the former Intercontinental Champion ought to have switched to a babyface persona by leaving The Judgment Day and reuniting with his father, who had made several sporadic appearances in the squared circle following an injury that had sidelined him earlier this year. The two could then head out together to win the tag team title.
