Real Madrid kick off the 2025/26 campaign with some new squad additions after a busy summer transfer window.

Los Blancos have made three new signings so far - with another one lined up for August - as Xabi Alonso looks to strengthen his new team, on the back of an underwhelming campaign in 2024/25.

As part of Alonso's ambitious rebuild, Trent Alexander-Arnold completed a prolonged move from Liverpool, with Dean Huijsen landing from Bournemouth, ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.

The Spanish giants have also confirmed the signing of Alvaro Carreras from Benfica and Franco Mastantuono will be unveiled at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu when he turns 18 in mid-August.

Alexander-Arnold and Huijsen have made eye-catching debuts at the Club World Cup and Alonso will continue to bring through new faces next season.

Alvaro Carreras

During his youth career, Carreras was a part of Real Madrid's academy from 2017 to 2020, before joining Manchester United, where he started his senior career in 2022.

Carreras returned to Los Blancos on a six-year deal, reportedly worth €50m [$58m]and the left-back is expected to make his debut in the La Liga opener against Osasuna on August 19.

Franco Mastantuono

Mastantuono started his senior career with boyhood club River Plate in 2024. The 17-year-old became Argentina's youngest debutant in a competitive match this summer, coming off the bench as a late substitute in a 1-0 World Cup qualifying win against Chile.

Real Madrid have now wrapped up a deal for the right-winger to join on August 14 with his six-year contract reportedly worth €45m [$52m].

Reinier Jesus

Reinier Jesus arrived in Madrid from Flamengo in January 2020 on a contract until June 2026. He was assigned to Real Madrid's reserve team for the remainder of that season.

The Brazilian has since been loaned out to several clubs, starting with a two-season temporary move to Borussia Dortmund, followed by season-long loans to Girona, Frosinone and Granada.

With the completion of his loan at Granada, Jesus may finally get a chance to make his debut for Real Madrid's first team in the 2025/26 campaign, after officially being a part of the club for five years.
