21-year old slugger makes MLB postseason history in Game 1 of NLDS

It was a record-breaking first two innings for the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. In Game 1 of the NLDS, as the Brewers took on the Chicago Cubs, the home team scored nine runs on 10 hits and led 9-1.

The offense got started from the first batter in the order. Jackson Chourio had three hits in the first two innings, which has never happened in MLB postseason history.

Chourio singled to start the bottom of the 1st inning. He later doubled in the innings, which was part of a six-run first inning.

In the second inning, with two outs and the bases loaded, he hit an infield single to third base. Unfortunately for Chourio, he was forced to leave the game with an injury. The Brewers obviously are hoping it's not a serious injury.

During the regular season, Chourio, who is just 21 years old, played 130 games and hit .268 for the Brewers. He was able to smack 21 home runs and drive in 78 runs, while scoring 86.

Game 2 of the best-of-five series will take place on Monday, as the Brewers remain at home.
