Has anyone been sleeping so poorly that they can't even fathom how it's pawssible to sleep through the night anymore? Our cats can sleep through construction, us screaming when we see a mouse that they're not awake to scare away, and the garbage truck crushing their empty cat food cans outside our windows. Cat parents, I know you're envious, as am I, of the fluffy felines who can drift off into dreamland as soon as their little chins hit a soft area on our furniture. Meowlatonin can only take hoomans so far. We must accept that our little floofers are simply more capable than we are. That is okay.
Cat pawrents tend to be on the anti-social side, as their cat companions are often the same way. Cats are allowed to observe a room without needing to contribute, and I couldn't be more jealous. Sometimes, don't you just want to “haunt” the room, be a fly on the wall? Speaking takes up so much energy sometimes…
What I would do to be a little cute kitty sitting on the warm part of a charging cable…
This cat has the right idea. Even though our cats are usually warm and curled up in little circles to preserve their body heat, little kittens don't have the same luxury. This calls for desperate measures, hoomans, desperate measures.
