The 2026 Chili Bowl Nationals powered by NOS Energy, the world’s greatest midget race of the year, is set to take place mid-January inside the SageNet Center at the Tulsa Expo Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 40th annual Chili Bowl Nationals kicks off on January 11, 2026, and will be held until January 17, 2026.

Known as the Super Bowl of midget racing, the event promises high-octane midget car race action. This year, more than 350 drivers from across the United States and the world will compete at the 1⁄5 mi dirt oval track.

A week-long Chili Bowl action, which runs from January 11 to 17, will stream on FloRacing. The inaugural Chili Bowl was held in 1987, and it was won by Rich Vogler.

The 2026 Chili Bowl Nationals format usually includes practice, prelim races, heat races, and a 55-lap feature race.

Several talented drivers from different motorsport forms participate in the Super Bowl of midget racing with great enthusiasm. NASCAR drivers who have entered the 2026 Chili Bowl include two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Larson, Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Christopher Bell and Ty Gibbs, Sheldon Creed, Corey Day, and Josh Bilicki.

NASCAR drivers who have won the prestigious “Golden Driller” trophy are Larson (2020, 2021, and 2025), Christopher Bell (2017, 2018, and 2019), NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart (2002 and 2007), and Ryan Blaney’s father, Dave (1993).

Larson is the defending winner of the Chili Bowl Nationals. The Hendrick Motorsports driver will aim to secure his fourth victory when the action begins in two weeks.
