I’m not crafty. My DIY projects usually end up in the trash after I realize I have no idea what I’m doing. But some people are genuinely talented at making things from scratch. These handmade DIY craft masterpieces are actually impressive, not just “impressive for a DIY project.” Real skill, real creativity, and results that look professional.
If you’ve ever tried crafting and failed, these will either inspire you…or just make you feel worse about your abilities.
1. “My wife got REALLY into beading lately and made a TON of stuff”

“A few weeks ago, I decided to decorate this unfinished wooden box with some stuff that has been cluttering my craft area for awhile. I didn’t really make a dent in uncluttering but I had fun trying!”

“I first started this stumpwork hand embroidered monstera a year ago but let self-doubt creep in. I’ve finally finished and so happy with the result!”

“This is a 25 cm full-body Bengal cat sculpture, and her name is Coco. I placed a tiny bit of her ashes in the heart of the core, so a part of her is truly inside.
This piece took me over four months to finish, I’d work on it, leave it for a few days, then come back and fix anything that didn’t feel “Coco” enough 🙁
Every time I work on a piece, I always spend a long time doing the final touch-ups and refinements. I really hope every pet parent can be as detailed and “picky” as they want with their requests, it helps me shape their little baby into the most perfect version in their hearts. :)”
18. “I finally finished my glowing whale lamp!”
“I finally finished my accent light lamp for our living room and am very happy with the result and wanted to share 🙂 The lamp is made with air dry clay and acrylic colours – besides the wiring and the fake plants.The lamp took me about 30 hours. Inside is a light chain which can change the colours.”
