It has just been noted via a new report that a multi-time world champion is not present at AEW Worlds End or near the venue in any way. Their hiatus from the promotion continues.
Christian Cage has not been seen since AEW All Out: Toronto back in September. He teamed up with Adam Copeland to take on FTR. The legendary duo got the victory that night, but it was FTR who got the final laugh. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were not only able to lay them out post-match, but they even attacked Beth Phoenix, who made her debut appearance that night.
WrestleVotes has spoken about The Patriarch's whereabouts during a new report by Fightful Select. They have revealed that, unfortunately, the veteran is not only not in the same city as the pay-per-view, but he is not in the same state. Christian is at an American Hockey League game in Bridgeport, CT. He was even spotted by the celebrity camera and shown during the broadcast.
A clip of this can be seen below.
It is safe to assume that he won't be around for tonight's show, as even by some miracle, he won't make it via travel.

At least until the end of 2025, it doesn't seem like the Rated-R Superstar and Christian will be seen in AEW. But they could look to get their revenge on FTR when they are finished with all their commitments outside of wrestling.
