Anyone watching the Green Bay Packers play notices something.
They have a few different-looking helmets.
Specifically, Romeo Doubs (No. 87) and Savion Williams (No. 82) have bulky-looking helmets.
Those aren't actually different helmets, though. They're just coverings on their helmets.
They are called Guardian Caps, and they're meant to prevent head injuries.

Why is Romeo Doubs' helmet different?
Romeo Doubs' helmet is different because he is wearing a Guardian Cap.
It's a soft-shell cover that goes over the standard helmet. It's meant to reduce concussions and head injuries.
Doubs began wearing a Guardian Cap late in the 2024 season. He missed two weeks with a concussion that he sustained against the San Francisco 49ers.
In his first game with the Guardian Cap, he had two receiving touchdowns.

Why is Savion Williams' helmet different?
Savion Williams' helmet is different because he is also wearing a Guardian Cap.
The rookie opted to begin his NFL career with the special helmet piece.
He had a concussion this summer, which kept him out of a part of training camp.
Once he passed concussion protocol, it gave him incentive to wear this special protective covering.
When were Guardian Caps allowed in NFL?
Guardian Caps were first allowed to be worn on NFL practice fields in 2020.
The first time players could wear Guardian Caps in games was 2024.
About a dozen players currently wear them each week across the league.
