The shooting took place around 10 p.m. on the mezzanine level of the station at River Avenue and West 167th Street, an NYPD spokesman said Sunday.
The teen was wounded in the leg, police said.
David Ayenengoye, 20, was arrested at the scene and charged with attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal use of a firearm.
No additional information was immediately available about the incident.
