A 15-time WWE champion is all set for a prestigious Hall of Fame induction. The honor will recognize the star's work in the pro wrestling industry.

Nic Nemeth, aka Dolph Ziggler, will be inducted into The George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026.

The George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame made the announcement on their social media pages. They shared an excerpt highlighting Nemeth's achievements.

“Nic Nemeth, also known as Dolph Ziggler, is the 2026 Tragos/Thesz Hall of Fame inductee. Nemeth was an accomplished amateur wrestler at St. Edward’s High School, where he set the record for most career pins (82) and led his team to two state championships, and at Kent State University, where he is second place in school history for career victories with 121," they noted in a Facebook post.

The post also noted Nemeth's success in WWE as a two-time World Champion, a six-time Intercontinental champion, and a two-time U.S. Title holder. Nemeth was also a four-time tag team champion and won the NXT Championship once in his career in the Stamford-based promotion.

The induction weekend is scheduled for July 9 through July 11 in Waterloo, Iowa, at the Dan Gable Museum. After his departure from the sports entertainment giant in 2023, he signed with TNA, where he currently competes.

Dolph Ziggler returned to WWE recently

As part of TNA's ongoing partnership with WWE, Dolph Ziggler made a surprise appearance on RAW a few weeks ago.

He turned out to be the surprise opponent for Solo Sikoa in the Last Time is Now Tournament on RAW. Despite the fanfare and a valiant effort, The Showoff was unable to overcome the Street Champion.

Right now, it is unclear whether this was a one-off appearance or whether fans will see more of Ziggler in the Stamford-based promotion in the near future.
