The Baltimore Ravens know the time is now.
Sitting at 1-5 and coming off their bye week, it is all gas, no brakes, as John Harbaugh's team will need at least nine wins from here on out to even think about punching their ticket to the postseason.
Up first, the Chicago Bears, who have found their groove of late with Caleb Williams, so it will be anything but a cakewalk.
We stated that the Ravens had some soul-searching to do during the bye week, and receiver Zay Flowers knows it came at the right time and then offered a little warning shot to the Bears in the process.
“We all needed a mental reset, and we ready to come back out swinging, and we going to try and make an example out of this first game," Flowers said.

It's gut-check time for Ravens vs. Bears
It might be a little heavy-handed to suggest that the Ravens' season is over with a loss, but they are the only team the media would ever talk about as still being in the playoff hunt at 1-5.
Any other team is gone, dead in the water, but not Baltimore.
However, at 1-6? Yeah, let's put a pin in the playoff talk.
This is why, whether it be Lamar Jackson, Cooper Rush, or Tyler Huntley, the Ravens have to win this game. It doesn't matter how it looks or by how much, but Baltimore has to move to 2-5 after Week 8.
If not, you can likely kiss the 2025 season goodbye before Thanksgiving, which is a brutal reality the Ravens will face if they don't get the job done against Chicago.
Flowers says the team will come out swinging -- let's see if they can back it up.
